Online Course: Topics in Columbia School Linguistics

We are excited to announce the Fall 2021 online course that offers an opportunity for scholars to explore Columbia School research and gain a better understanding of Columbia School theory. It is ideal for new Society Fellows, as well as anyone who might be interested in submitting a proposal for funding in the future. Please note, topics covered in this class are different than the Fall 2020 class.

Six online synchronous sessions begin Tuesday, October 12th, and will end Tuesday, December 21st. The course will be led by three instructors: 

Ellen Contini-Morava,University of Virginia 

Ricardo Otheguy, City University of New York

Bob de Jonge, University of Groningen

This course is free to participants. Contact your university if you’d like to earn credit as an independent study.

Added support will be provided for Spanish speaking students.
